SLAVA
Slava has been attending Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas since January 2009. His major is Computer Science and he'd like to work in the business world after graduation.
Slava has scholarships and work study that cover part of his tuition, room, and board. The remainder of his college costs is about $1500 per month. |
LENA
Lena is attending the Intensive English Language Program at Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth. After completing the English program, Lena would like to begin work on a bachelor’s degree. Possible fields of study for Lena are animal husbandry or horticulture. She lives in a host home and her monthly tuition cost is approximately $1000.

YULIA
Yulia is currently living in Russia and has completed trade-school-type nursing training there. She is currently working as a nurse. Yulia would like to study nursing in the U.S. and become a bi-lingual nurse. In order to apply for a student visa, Yulia needs to be able to show that she has approximately $25,000 to cover school costs. The up-front money raised will go 100% toward her schooling.

MISHA
Misha’s outstanding soccer skills earned him a scholarship at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas in 2009. He continues to study there and play soccer. Misha is majoring in Sports Management. After graduating, he hopes to work in the sports business field. Misha’s soccer scholarship covers most of his expenses, but $800 per month has to be covered through donations.
